Your new role

• An exciting opportunity for an Operational Support Technician I to join our Manufacturing team.

• This is a shift-based role, working Tuesday – Friday. This may include ad-hoc evening and weekend shifts.

• You’ll be responsible for performing controlled cleaning of laboratories, clean room facilities and equipment.

• Performing inventory checks and restocking materials when required.

• Assisting the direct Manufacturing team during cell therapy processing, including labelling of vials, accurately recording data and transferring materials into the manufacturing area.

• Operating and monitoring equipment such as incubators and storage vessels.

• Processing and disposing of laboratory waste.

• Manage laundry for cleanroom garments and lab coats.

• Schedule and conduct equipment maintenance.

About you

Ideally, you will have experience of working within a GMP clean room environment, however it is not required. We welcome applications from those who have experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment who can demonstrate enthusiasm, drive, strong communication skills, and ability to stay organised in a fast-paced setting. We also welcome applicants with:

• Good computer skills with experience in Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Ability to work to deadlines and deliver results.

• Work effectively within a small team.

Qualifications

• Ideally, the candidate will hold a HNC in Life Sciences or related subject. We welcome applicants with equivalent training and experience.
