Your new role
An exciting opportunity for an Operational Support Technician I to join our Manufacturing team.
This is a shift-based role, working Tuesday – Friday. This may include ad-hoc evening and weekend shifts.
You’ll be responsible for performing controlled cleaning of laboratories, clean room facilities and equipment.
Performing inventory checks and restocking materials when required.
Assisting the direct Manufacturing team during cell therapy processing, including labelling of vials, accurately recording data and transferring materials into the manufacturing area.
Operating and monitoring equipment such as incubators and storage vessels.
Processing and disposing of laboratory waste.
Manage laundry for cleanroom garments and lab coats.
Schedule and conduct equipment maintenance.
About you
Ideally, you will have experience of working within a GMP clean room environment, however it is not required. We welcome applications from those who have experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment who can demonstrate enthusiasm, drive, strong communication skills, and ability to stay organised in a fast-paced setting. We also welcome applicants with:
Good computer skills with experience in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work to deadlines and deliver results.
Work effectively within a small team.
Qualifications
Ideally, the candidate will hold a HNC in Life Sciences or related subject. We welcome applicants with equivalent training and experience.
